# Garmin Connect™ vs RigRun Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: Garmin Connect™ at 4.4 against RigRun Mobile's 2.8. Garmin Connect™ also leads on ratings volume (60K vs 4) and chart position (#25 vs unranked). RigRun Mobile's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Garmin Connect™ holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Garmin Connect™ has 60K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
