# btwb vs Dreamwod

The clearest difference is monetization model: Dreamwod at free against btwb's free with in-app purchases. btwb's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 6) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for btwb against 4.5 for Dreamwod. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: btwb has 1.5K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

btwb ships an update weekly, Dreamwod every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
