# Scouter Pro vs PhotoSync

The clearest difference is update cadence: PhotoSync at every 9 days against Scouter Pro's every 3 months. Scouter Pro's advantage is iOS requirement (6.0 vs 15). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Scouter Pro ships an update every 3 months, PhotoSync every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.

This app uses your device's camera to scan faces and display a "battle power" level in real-time. It includes a ranking system and options to save and share images, though it's intended as a joke and the measurements are not precise.

**Highlights:** Real-time face scanning, Battle power estimation, Ranking system, Save and share images, Customizable scouter color, Joke application

**Features:** macOS Compatibility

**In-app purchases:** none
