# Backgammon Elite HD vs Narde ∞

The clearest difference is rating: Narde ∞ at 5.0 against Backgammon Elite HD's 3.3. Narde ∞ also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Backgammon Elite HD's advantage is ratings volume (17 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Backgammon Elite HD sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Narde ∞ sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Narde ∞ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Backgammon Elite HD has 17 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of Backgammon Elite HD's written reviews are positive against 39% of Narde ∞'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
