# Dillons vs UWashApp

The clearest difference is rating: Dillons at 4.7 against UWashApp's 4.0. Dillons also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (36K vs 26). UWashApp's advantage is review sentiment (57% vs 19%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dillons holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dillons has 36K ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of Dillons's written reviews are positive against 57% of UWashApp's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dillons ships an update weekly, UWashApp every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
