# Dillons vs Company Kitchen

The clearest difference is ads: Company Kitchen at none against Dillons's shown. Company Kitchen also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Dillons's advantage is ratings volume (37K vs 22) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Company Kitchen holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dillons has 37K ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Dillons ships an update weekly, Company Kitchen monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
