# Fry's vs EzWIC

The clearest difference is rating: Fry's at 4.8 against EzWIC's 4.2. Fry's also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (121K vs 167). EzWIC's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (48% vs 14%). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Fry's holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fry's has 121K ratings behind it against 167, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of Fry's's written reviews are positive against 48% of EzWIC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fry's ships an update weekly, EzWIC every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
