# JayC vs Precision Style

The clearest difference is ads: Precision Style at none against JayC's shown. Precision Style also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). JayC's advantage is ratings volume (4K vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Precision Style holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: JayC has 4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

JayC ships an update weekly, Precision Style monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
