# QFC vs Droplocker Public Locker

The clearest difference is rating: QFC at 4.6 against Droplocker Public Locker's 2.3. QFC also leads on ratings volume (11K vs 19) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). Droplocker Public Locker's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

QFC holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QFC has 11K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of QFC's written reviews are positive against 27% of Droplocker Public Locker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

QFC ships an update weekly, Droplocker Public Locker monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
