# Ralphs vs El Porto

The clearest difference is review sentiment: El Porto at 100% against Ralphs's 15%. El Porto also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Ralphs's advantage is ratings volume (63K vs 8) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ralphs holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ralphs has 63K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of Ralphs's written reviews are positive against 100% of El Porto's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ralphs ships an update weekly, El Porto every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
