# Fonts Manager vs Fonts

The clearest difference is rating: Fonts at 4.7 against Fonts Manager's 3.6. Fonts also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). Fonts Manager's advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 33%) and ratings volume (93 vs 15). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fonts Manager sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Fonts sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fonts holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fonts Manager has 93 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Fonts Manager's written reviews are positive against 33% of Fonts's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fonts Manager ships an update every 4 months, Fonts monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
