# Swim Results vs swimsync

The clearest difference is rating: Swim Results at 4.5 against swimsync's 3.0. Swim Results also leads on ratings volume (115 vs 2). swimsync's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Swim Results sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per year and swimsync sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Swim Results holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Swim Results has 115 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Swim Results's written reviews are positive against 61% of swimsync's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Swim Results ships an update every 3 weeks, swimsync every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
