# Blackjack 42 vs Blackjack Royale

The clearest difference is ads: Blackjack 42 at none against Blackjack Royale's shown. Blackjack 42 also leads on review sentiment (68% vs 39%) and ratings volume (986 vs 255). Blackjack Royale's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 4.1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blackjack 42 sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Blackjack Royale sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Blackjack Royale holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 986 and 255 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Blackjack 42's written reviews are positive against 39% of Blackjack Royale's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
