# ACT Math vs ACT Prep & Practice by Magoosh

The clearest difference is update cadence: ACT Prep & Practice by Magoosh at every 6 weeks against ACT Math's every 11 months. ACT Prep & Practice by Magoosh also leads on ratings volume (2.8K vs 3). ACT Math's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ACT Math sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ACT Prep & Practice by Magoosh sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
