# ACT Math vs Animath

The clearest difference is update cadence: Animath at every 4 days against ACT Math's every 11 months. Animath also leads on ratings volume (221 vs 19). ACT Math's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 74%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ACT Math sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Animath sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for ACT Math against 4.6 for Animath. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Animath has 221 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of ACT Math's written reviews are positive against 74% of Animath's.

ACT Math ships an update every 11 months, Animath every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
