# Sygic vs Offline Map Navigation

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Sygic at 41% against Offline Map Navigation's 14%. Sygic also leads on ratings volume (57K vs 315) and rating (4.5 vs 4.3). Offline Map Navigation's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sygic sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $12.49 per 3 months and Offline Map Navigation sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sygic holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sygic has 57K ratings behind it against 315, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 41% of Sygic's written reviews are positive against 14% of Offline Map Navigation's.

Sygic ships an update weekly, Offline Map Navigation fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
