# Sygic vs HERE WeGo Maps & Navigation

The clearest difference is rating: Sygic at 4.5 against HERE WeGo Maps & Navigation's 3.7. Sygic also leads on ratings volume (57K vs 1.6K) and update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks). HERE WeGo Maps & Navigation's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sygic sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $12.49 per 3 months. HERE WeGo Maps & Navigation asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sygic holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sygic has 57K ratings behind it against 1.6K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of Sygic's written reviews are positive against 58% of HERE WeGo Maps & Navigation's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sygic ships an update weekly, HERE WeGo Maps & Navigation every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
