# ABC4 Weather vs Storm Tracker NOW

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Storm Tracker NOW at 100% against ABC4 Weather's 50%. ABC4 Weather's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (287 vs 14). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ABC4 Weather holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ABC4 Weather has 287 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of ABC4 Weather's written reviews are positive against 100% of Storm Tracker NOW's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ABC4 Weather ships an update every 2 months, Storm Tracker NOW every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
