# Distressed FX vs Interfere

The clearest difference is monetization model: Distressed FX at free with in-app purchases against Interfere's subscription. Distressed FX also leads on review sentiment (86% vs 50%) and ratings volume (5.3K vs 14). Interfere's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Distressed FX sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Interfere sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Distressed FX holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Distressed FX has 5.3K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 86% of Distressed FX's written reviews are positive against 50% of Interfere's.

Distressed FX ships an update every 4 months, Interfere every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
