# Cache Valley Direct Card vs Megaplex Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: Megaplex Mobile at 4.7 against Cache Valley Direct Card's 2.4. Megaplex Mobile also leads on update cadence (every 6 months vs every 64 months) and ratings volume (12K vs 11). Cache Valley Direct Card's advantage is review sentiment (27% vs 19%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Megaplex Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Megaplex Mobile has 12K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Cache Valley Direct Card's written reviews are positive against 19% of Megaplex Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cache Valley Direct Card ships an update every 64 months, Megaplex Mobile every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
