# Bedside Alarm Clock vs Nightstand ※

The clearest difference is ads: Nightstand ※ at none against Bedside Alarm Clock's shown. Nightstand ※ also leads on rating (4.4 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (2.1K vs 115). Bedside Alarm Clock's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 41%) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bedside Alarm Clock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month and Nightstand ※ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nightstand ※ holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nightstand ※ has 2.1K ratings behind it against 115, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Bedside Alarm Clock's written reviews are positive against 41% of Nightstand ※'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
