# Bedside Alarm Clock vs Digital Alarm

The clearest difference is price: Bedside Alarm Clock at Free against Digital Alarm's $4.99. Bedside Alarm Clock also leads on rating (3.9 vs 3.3) and ratings volume (115 vs 4). Digital Alarm's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). On update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Bedside Alarm Clock holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bedside Alarm Clock has 115 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Bedside Alarm Clock's written reviews are positive against 59% of Digital Alarm's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
