# Finger Timer vs CU Baseball Scoreboard

The clearest difference is rating: Finger Timer at 4.2 against CU Baseball Scoreboard's 2.8. Finger Timer also leads on ratings volume (347 vs 6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). CU Baseball Scoreboard's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (100% vs 75%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Finger Timer holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Finger Timer has 347 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Finger Timer's written reviews are positive against 100% of CU Baseball Scoreboard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
