# Полиглот 16 vs Lingust

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Полиглот 16 at 833 against Lingust's 14. Полиглот 16 also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.7). Lingust's advantage is review sentiment (93% vs 71%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Полиглот 16 sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Lingust sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Полиглот 16 holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Полиглот 16 has 833 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Полиглот 16's written reviews are positive against 93% of Lingust's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Полиглот 16 ships an update every 5 months, Lingust every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
