# Math Slide vs Writing Wizard

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Writing Wizard at 5.2K against Math Slide's 17. Math Slide's advantage is review sentiment (89% vs 74%) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Math Slide sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Writing Wizard sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Math Slide against 4.4 for Writing Wizard. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Writing Wizard has 5.2K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 89% of Math Slide's written reviews are positive against 74% of Writing Wizard's.

Math Slide ships an update every 2 months, Writing Wizard every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
