# Yahhoo vs Weird Guys

The clearest difference is ads: Yahhoo at none against Weird Guys's shown. Yahhoo also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 11 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Weird Guys's advantage is ratings volume (39 vs 2) and review sentiment (92% vs 84%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Yahhoo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weird Guys has 39 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of Yahhoo's written reviews are positive against 92% of Weird Guys's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Yahhoo ships an update every 5 weeks, Weird Guys every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
