# Aprovado vs StudyRank

The clearest difference is ads: StudyRank at none against Aprovado's shown. StudyRank also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and review sentiment (100% vs 90%). Aprovado's advantage is ratings volume (32 vs 4) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aprovado sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and StudyRank sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Aprovado against 5.0 for StudyRank. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aprovado has 32 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 90% of Aprovado's written reviews are positive against 100% of StudyRank's.

Aprovado ships an update fortnightly, StudyRank every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
