# BambooHR vs Cloudbrink

The clearest difference is update cadence: BambooHR at every 2 weeks against Cloudbrink's every 2 months. BambooHR also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 4) and chart position (#132 vs unranked). Cloudbrink's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cloudbrink holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BambooHR has 13K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BambooHR ships an update every 2 weeks, Cloudbrink every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
