# BambooHR vs WorkEasy Software

The clearest difference is rating: BambooHR at 4.7 against WorkEasy Software's 3.1. BambooHR also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 33) and chart position (#164 vs unranked). WorkEasy Software's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BambooHR holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BambooHR has 13K ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of BambooHR's written reviews are positive against 30% of WorkEasy Software's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BambooHR ships an update every 2 weeks, WorkEasy Software fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
