# ACT Math vs Formula Conversion

The clearest difference is update cadence: ACT Math at every 12 months against Formula Conversion's every 26 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ACT Math sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Formula Conversion sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ACT Math ships an update every 12 months, Formula Conversion every 26 months. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
