# ACT Math vs LexiTales

The clearest difference is update cadence: LexiTales at every 4 days against ACT Math's every 12 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ACT Math sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and LexiTales sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ACT Math ships an update every 12 months, LexiTales every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
