# ACT Math vs Diggs

The clearest difference is update cadence: Diggs at every 6 weeks against ACT Math's every 12 months. ACT Math's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and ratings volume (6 vs 2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ACT Math sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Diggs sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for ACT Math against 5.0 for Diggs. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 2 respectively.

ACT Math ships an update every 12 months, Diggs every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
