# Daily Record App vs Daily Express Newspaper

The clearest difference is ads: Daily Express Newspaper at none against Daily Record App's shown. Daily Record App's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (212 vs 24). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Daily Record App sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Daily Express Newspaper sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Daily Record App against 4.5 for Daily Express Newspaper. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Daily Record App has 212 ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 29% of Daily Record App's written reviews are positive against 35% of Daily Express Newspaper's.

Daily Record App ships an update monthly, Daily Express Newspaper every 4 months. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
