# Sony LIV vs CSPACE OTT

The clearest difference is rating: CSPACE OTT at 5.0 against Sony LIV's 4.2. CSPACE OTT also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Sony LIV's advantage is ratings volume (781 vs 1) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sony LIV sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per year and CSPACE OTT sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CSPACE OTT holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sony LIV has 781 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 36% of Sony LIV's written reviews are positive against 60% of CSPACE OTT's.

Sony LIV ships an update every 6 days, CSPACE OTT every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
