# Provision vs RR

The clearest difference is monetization model: RR at free against Provision's subscription. RR also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Provision's advantage is rating (2.9 vs 2.6) and ratings volume (458 vs 41). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Provision holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Provision has 458 ratings behind it against 41, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 21% of Provision's written reviews are positive against 18% of RR's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
