# MonCalite vs Vertical Planner

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MonCalite at none against Vertical Planner's 3. MonCalite also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (294 vs 16). Vertical Planner's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.5). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vertical Planner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. MonCalite asks for nothing beyond the download.

MonCalite holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MonCalite has 294 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two.
