# PSPD vs SunStrong Connect

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PSPD at 100% against SunStrong Connect's 12%. PSPD also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). SunStrong Connect's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (15K vs 12). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SunStrong Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SunStrong Connect has 15K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of PSPD's written reviews are positive against 12% of SunStrong Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PSPD ships an update every 6 months, SunStrong Connect every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
