# UberGenPass vs Save Passwords

The clearest difference is review sentiment: UberGenPass at 100% against Save Passwords's 64%. UberGenPass also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.6). Save Passwords's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 3.7) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 7 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Save Passwords sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. UberGenPass asks for nothing beyond the download.

Save Passwords holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Save Passwords has 33 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of UberGenPass's written reviews are positive against 64% of Save Passwords's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UberGenPass ships an update every 7 months, Save Passwords every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
