# UberGenPass vs NinePass

The clearest difference is update cadence: NinePass at every 6 weeks against UberGenPass's every 7 months. UberGenPass's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

UberGenPass ships an update every 7 months, NinePass every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
