# Wi vs USB

The clearest difference is rating: Wi at 3.0 against USB's 2.0. Wi also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 18%) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 13.0). USB's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (29 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Wi holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: USB has 29 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of Wi's written reviews are positive against 18% of USB's.

Wi ships an update every 4 months, USB every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 20, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
