# Wi vs DLscope

The clearest difference is rating: Wi at 3.0 against DLscope's 1.8. Wi also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 13%) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 13). DLscope's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (29 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Wi holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DLscope has 29 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of Wi's written reviews are positive against 13% of DLscope's.

Wi ships an update every 4 months, DLscope every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 20, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
