# Splittr vs Sesterce

The clearest difference is ads: Sesterce at none against Splittr's shown. Sesterce also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and device support (3 vs 1). Splittr's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (619 vs 61). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Splittr sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per year and Sesterce sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sesterce holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Splittr has 619 ratings behind it against 61, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 97% of Splittr's written reviews are positive against 95% of Sesterce's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Splittr ships an update every 4 days, Sesterce every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 19, 2026.
