# Splittr vs SplitTab

The clearest difference is ads: SplitTab at none against Splittr's shown. SplitTab also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Splittr's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (619 vs 13). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Splittr sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per year and SplitTab sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $11.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SplitTab holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Splittr has 619 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 97% of Splittr's written reviews are positive against 100% of SplitTab's.

Splittr ships an update every 4 days, SplitTab every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
