# Splittr vs 1split

The clearest difference is ads: 1split at none against Splittr's shown. Splittr's advantage is ratings volume (616 vs 10) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Splittr sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per year and 1split sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Splittr holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Splittr has 616 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 97% of Splittr's written reviews are positive against 100% of 1split's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Splittr ships an update every 4 days, 1split every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
