# Remindfulness vs Reality checks

The clearest difference is price: Remindfulness at Free against Reality checks's $0.99. Remindfulness also leads on rating (3.7 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (20 vs 1). Reality checks's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 66%). On in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Remindfulness is free to download; Reality checks costs $0.99 up front. Remindfulness sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Reality checks sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Remindfulness holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Remindfulness has 20 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Remindfulness's written reviews are positive against 100% of Reality checks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Remindfulness ships an update every 12 months, Reality checks daily. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
