# Hooked on Phonics Learning vs KRK Connect

The clearest difference is rating: Hooked on Phonics Learning at 4.5 against KRK Connect's 3.7. Hooked on Phonics Learning also leads on ratings volume (18K vs 3) and chart position (#71 vs unranked). KRK Connect's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 21) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hooked on Phonics Learning sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. KRK Connect asks for nothing beyond the download.

Hooked on Phonics Learning holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hooked on Phonics Learning has 18K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Hooked on Phonics Learning's written reviews are positive against 50% of KRK Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
