The clearest difference is rating: Read 21 Jumpstart at 5.0 against Hooked on Phonics Learning's 4.5. Read 21 Jumpstart also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Hooked on Phonics Learning's advantage is ratings volume (18K vs 3) and chart position (#71 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
