# TriNet Mobile vs SmarterTrack Mobile

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SmarterTrack Mobile at 100% against TriNet Mobile's 43%. TriNet Mobile's advantage is ratings volume (39K vs 2) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TriNet Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TriNet Mobile has 39K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of TriNet Mobile's written reviews are positive against 100% of SmarterTrack Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
