The clearest difference is ads: EncephalApp at none against ColorSwitch!'s shown. EncephalApp also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). ColorSwitch!'s advantage is ratings volume (4K vs 5) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for EncephalApp against 4.5 for ColorSwitch!.
