# Scan Halal vs MYCC

The clearest difference is rating: MYCC at 4.9 against Scan Halal's 3.8. MYCC also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). Scan Halal's advantage is ratings volume (2.4K vs 12). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scan Halal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. MYCC asks for nothing beyond the download.

MYCC holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scan Halal has 2.4K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Scan Halal ships an update every 3 months, MYCC monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
